Corporate Social Responsibility
The Palau de la Música Catalana’s responsible and sustainable management model integrates environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria across all areas of the institution’s activity. This model aims to generate a positive impact on society by promoting culture as a driver of transformation, ensuring ethical and transparent management, minimising the environmental impact of its activities, and supporting projects that foster inclusion, accessibility and people’s well-being. Sustainability thus becomes a strategic pillar that guides decision-making and strengthens the Palau’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals and to creating shared value for the community.
The Palau has a Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development Management System, aligned with the IQNet SR10 standard and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda, following the AENOR management model.
This system makes it possible to integrate sustainability into decision-making, strengthen transparency and continuous improvement, and promote management aligned with the Foundation’s values and institutional commitment.
Stakeholders
The Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música Catalana maintains an ongoing dialogue with its stakeholders to understand their expectations, needs and perceptions, and to incorporate them into its management and decision-making processes.
Through a structured process of identification and prioritisation, the Palau defines its most relevant stakeholder groups and establishes relationship, participation and communication mechanisms tailored to each group.
Material matters and impacts
The Foundation periodically identifies and assesses the most relevant environmental, social and governance matters associated with its activities, as well as their main impacts, risks and opportunities.
This materiality assessment process makes it possible to prioritise the aspects of greatest relevance to the Foundation and its stakeholders, and to guide the definition of objectives and improvement actions.
