Transparence and sustainability
The Sustainable Development Goals,
a framework for creating value
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
At the Palau de la Música Catalana, we believe that culture is a tool for social transformation and that cultural institutions have a responsibility to actively contribute to addressing the major challenges of our time. For this reason, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda provide the framework that guides our sustainability strategy and our responsible management model.
The SDGs enable us to integrate a global perspective into decision-making and to promote initiatives that generate a positive impact across the environmental, social, cultural and governance dimensions. This commitment is reflected in our artistic programming, educational and social projects, heritage preservation, environmental management, stakeholder engagement and the development of partnerships that contribute to building a more inclusive, resilient and sustainable society.
The Palau’s contribution to the SDGs is not limited to isolated actions but forms part of a continuous improvement model that integrates ESG criteria (environmental, social and governance) across the entire organisation. This approach makes it possible to identify the SDGs that are most relevant to the institution’s activity, establish objectives, define indicators, and periodically measure the results and impact generated.
