Located in the Foyer of the Palau, it is a café-restaurant offering modern cuisine based on tradition. With fresh, locally sourced ingredients, it serves breakfast, a daily menu, a varied à la carte selection with different dietary options, and special service before and after concerts and during intervals.
Cafè Palau also has a terrace in Plaça del Palau, an outdoor space in the centre of Barcelona, ideal for lunch, an aperitif or meeting family and friends at any time of day.

The Palau Shop, located in the modernist space of the Foyer, offers:
- Decorative items, stationery, household items, jewellery and a variety of accessories inspired by the architecture and decorative features of the Palau: the skylight, stained glass, ceramics, the muses and other features of this Art Nouveau building.
- A series of CDsby the house choirs and a carefully-chosen selection of classical music.
- A selection of Art Nouveau architecture books, publications about the Palau de la Música Catalana itself and other music books.
- A section devoted to children, where items aimed at the young can be found, to foster their relationship with music. They range from baby books to reading and activity books. There are also toys in the form of musical instruments.
Regulations
- The Palau de la Música Catalana is an active concert venue. For this reason, guided tours may be modified or cancelled in relation to the usual route. The occasional closure of certain spaces does not entitle visitors to a discount or refund.
- Please arrive on time. Once the visit has started, entry will not be permitted.
- In accordance with Law 28/2005 of 26 December, smoking is not permitted throughout the Palau premises.
- Food and drinks are not allowed.
- There is no cloakroom or luggage storage service.
- The Palau de la Música Catalana reserves the right of admission. The Reception will provide official complaint forms upon request for any complaint or comment.
- Access to guided tours wearing wedding dresses for photo sessions is not permitted. Any such request must be sent in advance by email to [email protected] and is subject to image rights fees.
- Ticket purchases are not subject to the right of withdrawal. Exchanges and refunds are not permitted.
Accessibility
Physical diversity and/or reduced mobility
- The Palau de la Música Catalana is accessible for people with reduced mobility by means of lifts on all floors.
- There is also a stair lift for wheelchairs on the Foyer floor to access the balconies where the Foyer exhibitions are located.
- In the Sala Lluís Millet there is a ramp enabled to access the balcony of the columns. The Palau de la Música also has adapted toilets and a wheelchair loan service on request.
- Around the Palace there are reserved parking spaces for people with reduced mobility. The closest ones to the Palau are in c/ Ortigosa and c/ Sant Pere Més Baix. The use of parking spaces for people with functional diversity is linked to the possession of a parking card for people with reduced mobility (PMR).
Hearing disabilities
- Deaf sign-language users can request specific visits with a Spanish Sign Language interpreter (minimum 15 people).
Visual diversity: Blind people or people with low vision
- Blind people or people with low vision: the audio guides will soon have audio description.
- Individual guided tours are also organized for blind or visually impaired people (minimum 12 people).

- It is recommended to access via Plaça del Palau, although it is also possible to do so via Carrer de SantPere Més Baix.

How much does a ticket cost?
Ticket prices depend on the type of visit, starting from €20 for the self-guided visit and €24 for the guided and audio-guided tours. Themed visits may have higher prices.
Are discounts available for children, students or seniors?
Yes, the Palau offers reduced rates for families with children, student groups and visitors over 65, as well as for retirees and unemployed individuals.
Can I visit the Palau without booking?
Yes, tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on the day of the visit. However, advance booking is recommended for guided, themed and group visits.
How can I get to the Palau by public transport?
The Palau can be reached by metro (lines L1 and L4), bus or on foot from Plaça Catalunya and other central locations.
In which languages are guided tours available?
Guided tours are available in several languages, depending on availability and schedule.
Can I enter with luggage?
Large bags and suitcases are not permitted. Visitors are advised to bring only small bags. A cloakroom service is available in the Petit Palau lobby.
