—Young international talents
Details
Giorgi Gigashvili has undoubtedly achieved one of the most distinctive career beginnings of recent years. The Georgian pianist, born in 2000, began by creating pop music arrangements and, at just 13 years old, won the Georgian edition of The Voice. At the same time, he continued his piano training and, in 2019, was awarded first prize at the Vigo International Piano Competition, under the jury presidency of Martha Argerich. Now established as a rising young star of the European piano scene, he presents a high-level program featuring Scarlatti and Chopin, a premiere by Nino Beridze, works by Lili Boulanger, and Ravel’s brilliant Miroirs, which showcases his full expressive and coloristic potential.
