Conducted and led from the violin by Maria Florea, the Franz Schubert Filharmonia will offer a programme of extraordinary beauty, headed by the evocative music of Max Richter. The celebrated On the Nature of Daylight, now an icon of contemporary music, will give way to such compelling works as Meeting Laura and Karl Jenkins’ energetic Palladio.

The evening will culminate with The Four Seasons Recomposed, Max Richter’s fascinating reinterpretation of Vivaldi’s masterpiece: a surprising proposal that has captivated audiences around the world and transforms a universal classic into a completely new sonic experience.
