Cinematic horror takes on a new dimension with Psycho, Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic film that revolutionised the suspense genre. The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès will perform Bernard Herrmann’s soundtrack live as the entire film is screened, offering audiences a fresh way to experience this cinema classic. Scored exclusively for string instruments, Herrmann’s music creates an unsettling atmosphere that heightens the mystery and drama unfolding on screen. Its piercing chords, particularly those accompanying the legendary shower scene, have become a landmark in film music.
