The choir was formed for this concert under the direction of Maestro Joe Tsuchizaki and Maestro Takahide Yamamoto, well-known choral masters in Japan. Many of the choir members have performed this beloved piece many times in Japan and around the world. It is a great honor for them to be able to perform this piece at the Palau de la Música Catalana, a world heritage site. The choir members’ respect for Mozart and their love for his latest work, Requiem, are something they want to share with the Barcelona audience.
