Cecilia Bartoli and Lang Lang, two superstars on the same stage. Having recently turned their artistic rapport into a shared project, the Italian mezzo-soprano and the Chinese pianist come together at the Palau de la Música Catalana in a meeting of equals, with neither relinquishing the spotlight. Two magnetic personalities with extraordinary powers of seduction, whom Palau audiences enjoyed separately as two of the great names of the 2025-26 season, now join forces in the same recital.
The programme has been tailor-made for this encounter, offering a broad journey through songs and arias from the Baroque to the 20th century, with works by Handel, Haydn, Schubert, Rossini, Bellini, Donizetti, Bizet, Puccini, Liszt and Debussy, among others. A repertoire that will showcase Bartoli and Lang Lang across a wide range of styles and expressive registers.
