The Camerata revisits A Midsummer Night’s Dream from a contemporary perspective that brings music, words and stagecraft into dialogue. Mendelssohn’s score becomes the starting point for a new theatrical experience created jointly with Elisabet Casanovas, Anna Andreu and Judit Colomer. Far from a historical reconstruction, the production seeks to bring to life the questions that still resonate within Shakespeare’s work and explore them through a contemporary sensibility.
