Composed between 1899 and 1902, La Nit de Nadal by Joan Lamote de Grignon is an oratorio of great emotional and musical depth. Based on texts by Francesc Casas i Amigó, the work combines soloists, choirs, and orchestra through music rich in contrasts and expressiveness.
With Salvador Brotons at the helm, the Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, the Orfeó Gracienc, and the Cor Infantil de l’Orfeó Català will deliver a performance of this emblematic work from the Catalan symphonic-choral repertoire, with all its intensity and festive spirit.
