Waltz and dance festival
—Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès & Puig
Details
The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès welcomes the festive season with one of the highlights of its annual programme: the traditional Waltz and Dance Festival. Conducted by Xavier Puig and featuring baritone Josep-Ramon Olivé, the concert will fill the Palau de la Música Catalana with joyful melodies, infectious rhythms and the elegance of classic ballroom dances. The programme brings together the famous waltzes and polkas of the Strauss family alongside lesser-known gems from their repertoire, as well as excerpts from opera, operetta, musicals and Catalan music, including the traditional sardana. The evening will also offer a light-hearted and humorous look back at some of the most memorable moments of 2026.
