The Goldberg Variations return to the Palau Bach cycle in an unusual and sensitive version. Guitarists Thibaut Garcia and Antoine Molinière presents his own arrangement for two guitars of this cornerstone of Bach’s oeuvre. Following Angela Hewitt’s interpretation that opened the cycle, this new proposal invites the audience to listen from a different angle: an intimate reading full of new colours and unexpected textures, offering a different perspective without compromising the original’s depth or structural rigour. A concert that invites us to rediscover one of the great works of music history through a delicate and contemporary lens.
