The Four Seasons by Vivaldi

The Four Seasons by Vivaldi
—Maria Florea & Franz Schubert Filharmonia
Details
The Emotion of Baroque Music
We revisit one of the most fascinating and celebrated works in the history of music: Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons. Maria Florea, concertmaster of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia, will offer a vivid and bold interpretation, both as violinist and conductor, highlighting the descriptive character and melodic fantasy of this visionary music.
The programme will be completed with two Bach concertos —the Concerto for Two Violins and the Concerto for Violin and Oboe— performed by Maria Florea together with Miguel Ángel Castillo and Pau Roca, as well as Vivaldi’s Concerto for Flute and Orchestra La notte, an evocative and fascinating work featuring flautist Ana Ferraz. All of them are soloists of the Franz Schubert Filharmonia.
