Details

The new Simfònics al Palau season opens with a programme that brings together music from different eras and traditions, ranging from film scores to masterpieces of the symphonic repertoire. Conducted by Andrés Salado, the concert begins with Ryuichi Sakamoto’s evocative music for The Last Emperor, followed by Beethoven’s magnificent Piano Concerto No. 5, “Emperor”, featuring acclaimed Catalan pianist Alba Ventura as soloist.
