Somos Uno is a gala organized by the foundations Invest for Children and Mi Fundación Alex with the aim of raising funds to promote the inclusion of all individuals with diverse abilities in our society. This event seeks to raise awareness within the community about the importance of creating inclusive environments where everyone has the opportunity to fully develop, regardless of their skills or conditions. Through this gala, resources are sought to carry out programs and projects that promote equal opportunities and respect for diversity.

Invest for children has been collaborating for years with Aura Fundació, which is dedicated to integrating individuals with intellectual disabilities, mainly Down syndrome, into the regular job market using the Supported Employment methodology. This methodology prepares candidates considering their abilities and support needs, thus facilitating their successful job integration.

Mi Foundacón Alex was established in 2006 by the Masfurroll-Cortada family in memory of Alex Masfurroll, the second of their three children, who was born with Down syndrome and passed away at just three years old. The foundation was created under the premise of not asking what it would be for, but rather for whom. From day one, it has been a project designed for people—especially the most vulnerable—through sports practice, prevention, and the promotion of healthy habits, with the ultimate goal of achieving a healthier, more dignified, and happier life for everyone.
