Symphonic Virtuosity

Stefan Dohr, principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic, will be the featured artist in this exceptional concert. He will perform Benet Casablancas’s Horn Concerto No. 2, receiving its Catalan premiere, a work of rich colour and refined orchestral detail. In the second half, Maxim Lando will join the Franz Schubert Filharmonia for Brahms’s monumental Piano Concerto No. 2. Maxim Lando, one of the most promising pianists of his generation, makes his debut in our country thanks to the collaboration between the Franz Schubert Filharmonia and the Cleveland International Piano Competition, where Lando was a prizewinner.
