Details
Teodor Currentzis returns to the Palau de la Música Catalana with a program that reveals his passion for Georg Friedrich Händel. Accompanied by his ensemble musicAeterna, Currentzis offers a passionate journey through the Handelian universe, with a program that alternates arias, choruses, and orchestral excerpts from some of the composer’s most significant works: from the Baroque exuberance of The Water Music to the lyrical introspection of Theodora, passing through the dramatic intensity of Giulio Cesare and Orlando. This is an immersion into Händel’s expressive diversity and an opportunity to rediscover him through a cutting-edge interpretative lens, led by one of the most powerful, magnetic, and distinctive batons on the international scene.
