Miquel Villalba is a pianist of great versatility with a brilliant academic career, in which the Piano and Accompaniment Honor Prizes stand out. He has performed in recitals, in chamber ensembles, and as a soloist with orchestras in Spain, France, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, among others; and with conductors such as Beat Furrer, Frank Ollu, Georges E. Octors, Ernest Martínez, Francisco de Gálvez, and Juanjo Olives.

He will offer us a programme called Homenatges, dedicated to three great Catalan composers: Frederic Mompou, Xavier Montsalvatge and the pianist from Lleida Ricard Viñes, whose 150th birthday anniversary we are celebrating.
