Details
The Palau brings back one of the great works of the Catalan symphonic and choral repertoire: La Nit de Nadal by Joan Lamote de Grignon, a score that evokes the magic and spirituality of the Christmas season. The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallès, conducted by Noemí Pasquina, will join forces with the Orfeó Gracienc and Coral Cantiga choirs, the children’s ensembles Coloraines de l’Orfeó Gracienc and El Virolet de la Coral Cantiga, and vocal soloists Violeta Alarcón (soprano) and Lluís Calvet (baritone). This large-scale performance will reveal the expressive richness of a work in which orchestral and choral grandeur blends with moments of profound sensitivity.
