Under the baton of maestro Josep Miquel Mindàn and the stage proposal of award-winning director Jaume Villanueva, we will offer you the most brilliant opera of the great composer Gaetano Donizetti, considered a masterpiece of the lyrical genre.
Our version, like the other operas we have premiered at the Palau de la Música Catalana, is set in our city, turning the bucolic atmosphere of the original piece into the atmosphere of an idyllic festa major in the imaginary neighborhood (or not) Ciutat Bella, where the loves and intrigues of the protagonists of this story take place.
