October 1925 was a happy time for Juli Garreta; he heard his Piano Quartet again in the Mozart Hall, premiered the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra at the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Pau Casals Orchestra opened the concert season in Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
Joaquim Rabaseda, curator of the Juli Garreta Year, will give a lecture on the conception, interpretation and reception of the Violin Concerto, a work that will be performed at the Palau de la Música on May 12.
