Juan Diego Flórez has a special relationship with audiences at the Palau de la Música Catalana. One of the most beloved tenors of recent decades returns to a hall he fills on every visit and where he has forged a particularly close rapport with listeners. Virtuosity, elegance and direct communication turn his recitals into something more than a succession of arias and songs.

Accompanied at the piano by Vincenzo Scalera, Flórez presents a journey through songs and opera arias that often still holds one final surprise: the encores, frequently featuring popular songs from his native Peru, have almost become an event within the event. Flórez returns to the Palau and, with him, so does that special chemistry that can only exist between an artist and an audience who know each other well.
