Mozart and Mendelsshon
Details
The acclaimed conductor Yudainza Gómez takes the helm of the Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona (JOSB) in an exceptional programme featuring two celebrated works from the symphonic repertoire.
The concert will open with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, performed by the young musician and JOSB principal clarinettist Aimar Subirats. The orchestra will then perform Felix Mendelssohn’s popular Symphony No. 4, known as the “Italian”, one of the German composer’s most beloved works.
This concert, part of the JOSB series at the Palau de la Música Catalana, is organised jointly with the Fundació Salut i Persona to raise awareness of mental health, together with a foundation that has been working for more than a decade to promote emotional well-being, offering support and guidance to thousands of people and helping to improve their quality of life.
