The Jove Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona (JOSB) will bring its 12th season at the Palau de la Música Catalana to a close with a very special concert featuring more than 170 musicians on stage, under the musical direction of conductor Marc Timón.

The programme will open with The Little Wizard, a work by Marc Timón himself, followed by one of the great masterpieces of the symphonic repertoire, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, an iconic score of extraordinary expressive power that takes on special significance in 2027, the year marking the bicentenary of the composer’s death. An evening that brings contemporary creation into dialogue with the universal musical heritage and invites us to enjoy a unique artistic experience in such an emblematic venue as the Palau de la Música Catalana.

This concert in the JOSB series is held in support of the Fundació Salut Plus.
