Hope – Unplugged (acoustic)
Gospel With no Borders by Moisès Sala
Details
Hope is a gospel performance created specifically for this occasion, with an approximate running time of 100 minutes. The programme features a selection of modern and contemporary gospel pieces drawn from the repertoire of the three ensembles. The audience will also be invited to join their voices with those of the performers, transforming the Palau de la Música Catalana into the united song of hope that we all long for, and helping to make our world a small corner of heaven. Many of these songs are built around short repetitive musical phrases which, like a mantra, seek to speak directly to the spirit of everyone gathered in the Palau on that day, creating a unique and inspiring communion of music and soul.
Gospel With no Borders is the social responsibility and charitable outreach project for children founded by Moisès Sala in 2002. It was created with a clear commitment to supporting institutions, foundations and NGOs that work tirelessly every day to build a better society for children, with fewer social inequalities and greater human integration.
