In 2024, Sir John Eliot Gardiner decided to found two new groups of his own: the Constellation Choir & Constellation Orchestra. These are the flagship ensembles of Springhead Constellation, a new interdisciplinary arts organization whose goal is to organise accessible performances and ambitious transformative touring projects.
Internationally recognized as one of the most innovative and dynamic musicians on the contemporary scene, the English conductor will be performing in Spain for the second time with his own orchestra, in a programme whose highlight is Haydn’s La Passione, noted for its intense, vigorous expressiveness.
