Details
Mao Fujita, one of today’s great rising stars of the piano, makes his debut at the Palau with Edvard Grieg’s most iconic concerto. A work of romantic freshness, full of lyricism and luminous virtuosity that shines in the hands of this young pianist. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Vasily Petrenko, completes the programme with Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2, a score of epic breath and melodic depth that has become a symbol of Finnish symphonism. Before that, Vida secreta by Albert Guinovart will open the evening with his personal touch. A programme of great emotion and unforgettable soundscapes.
