Dyango

Su amigo Dyango tour

Details

With more than six decades of experience and a unique ability to turn heartbreak, passion and melancholy into pure art, Dyango (José Gómez Romero) stands as one of the living legends of romantic song in Spanish. Born in Barcelona’s Poble-sec neighbourhood, the singer has performed on some of the most prestigious stages in Spain and Latin America, earning dozens of gold and platinum records and leaving an indelible mark with timeless classics such as Corazón mágico, Por volverte a ver and Esta noche quiero brandy. Trained in violin and trumpet at the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory of Music, and deeply influenced by his passion for jazz and tango, he gave bolero and ballad singing a distinctive, heartfelt and unmistakable character.

At the age of 86, Dyango remains remarkably relevant, with his interpretative power undiminished. Through the recording project Su amigo Dyango (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2), he opens up an intergenerational dialogue by revisiting some of his best-known songs alongside leading figures from today’s music scene, proving that the sincerity of his singing transcends fashions and the passage of time. After selling out iconic international venues such as the Teatro Gran Rex in Buenos Aires, Dyango returns to his home city to reconnect with the audience that has accompanied him since the beginning of his career. Romanticism has a name, and that name is Dyango.

IMPORTANT: Minors under 16 years of age may only access the venue accompanied by their father, mother or legal guardian. It is essential to present the Responsibility Sheet (see attached documents) duly printed and completed.
