The Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Música Catalana presents Generació C, a concert that highlights the talent and vitality of contemporary Catalan choral composers. Under the direction of Xavier Puig, the programme traces a journey that bridges tradition and modernity, featuring works by Bernat Vivancos, Josep Ollé, Joan Magrané, Josep Vila, Carles Prat and Anna Campmany, among others. These creations dialogue with pieces from the historic choral repertoire and reimagined popular songs, forming a vivid portrait of Catalan choral music past and present. Generació C is also a statement of intent: the Palau and its Cor de Cambra’s commitment to giving voice to a generation of creators who, rooted in tradition and open to the world, project the expressive and collective strength of our musical heritage into the future.
