Following the success of last year's performance of Mozart's Requiem, we are delighted to renew this unique Japanese–Catalan collaboration with Carl Orff's monumental Carmina Burana.
Written in 1936 and based on a celebrated collection of medieval poetry from the 12th and 13th centuries, this powerful work will bring together a choir of 80 Japanese and 50 Catalan singers, accompanied by the Jove Simfònica Orpheus and conducted by the renowned Maestro Tomomi Nishimoto, in a truly international celebration of music and cultural exchange.
