In this concert, Canadian cellist Cameron Crozman — described by CBC Music as “Canada’s next big cello star” — blends French and Canadian musical traditions. Together with his regular duo partner, pianist Meagan Milatz — praised as “the perfect pair” by «Le Devoir» — he joins the award-winning Trio Helios for an evening of French masterpieces and the European premiere of a new work for cello and piano by Canadian composer Graham Campbell. The program includes Debussy’s vibrant Cello Sonata, Fauré’s Sérénade, written for Pau Casals, and Ravel’s lively Piano Trio.
