Details
The Gala Concert of the Barcelona International Young Artists Competition (BIYAC) is a major event showcasing the new generations of string talents —violin and cello— aged between 6 and 14.This competition, promoted by the Artists International Association (AIA), brings together young musicians from around the world and unfolds in two stages: a preliminary round by video submission and a live final in Barcelona.
During the Gala, up to seven finalists selected by the jury will perform their works accompanied by the Camerata Festival Orchestra, composed entirely of professional musicians from leading orchestras in Catalonia, providing top-level musical support to enhance the virtuosity and sensitivity of each performance. The concert marks the culmination of a rigorous international selection process, as well as a significant boost for young performers, who will have access to solo performance opportunities, scholarships for international courses, and awards granted by prestigious collaborating institutions.
The educational community, families, and lovers of classical music are warmly invited to attend this exceptional event, which celebrates talent, dedication, and the future of musical performance.
