The Banda Municipal de Barcelona, under the baton of its principal conductor José R. Pascual-Vilaplana, takes center stage in a concert dedicated to architect Antoni Gaudí on the centenary of his death. The program features two major Catalan works for symphonic band: Symphony No. 6, Op. 122, “Concisa” by Salvador Brotons and Gaudí Symphony by Albert Guinovart. An evening in the Tardes al Palau concert series that blends contemporary mastery with a tribute to the modernist genius, presented by one of the most prestigious band ensembles in the country.
