Details

The cellist Arnau Tomàs faces the immense challenge of performing the complete six Suites for cello by Bach in a single concert. A form of French origin that summarises the essence of Baroque instrumental music, the suite finds in the German composer one of its greatest exponents. The suites for cello are particularly close to Catalan performers, since their discovery is definitively linked to the name Pau Casals.
