Reinoud van Mechelen, one of today’s most highly regarded tenors specialising in early music, comes to the Palau with his own ensemble, A Nocte Temporis. Both singer and conductor, Van Mechelen has established himself as a voice closely associated with the Baroque repertoire and presents a programme devoted to Bach, Handel and Rameau, three essential composers for exploring the richness and diversity of this musical world.

The concert also has a special dimension: Van Mechelen will share the stage with the soloists of the 2027 Salvat Barroc Scholarship, after working with them as a tutor in the masterclasses associated with the scholarship. An encounter between a leading performer, his ensemble and a new generation of singers, turning the concert into a space for both discovery and transmission.
