Presentation of the 56th Catalan Letters Honor Award, instituted by Òmnium Cultural, to the linguist, writer and translator Albert Jané i Riera. The event will feature a show that will take a tour of the life and work of Albert Jané with a script specially prepared for the occasion based on his writings (many of them unpublished) and excerpts from interviews. Based on voice, music and audiovisuals, we will travel through the richness of the language and thought of this year's brand-new prize of honor for Catalan literature. All attendees will also be presented with a publication of texts by the author that shows his contribution as a linguist, writer, translator and cultural disseminator of several generations.
