Four top voices from the Catalan vocal scene —Marta Mathéu, Mireia Pintó, Roger Padullés, and Joan Martín-Royo— come together for this recital, accompanied on piano by Stanislav Angelov, to explore the many colours of ensemble song. The programme journeys from the German lied of Schubert and Brahms to the Catalan songs of Toldrà and the Indianas by Guastavino, brimming with South American rhythms and flavours. An evening to enjoy the expressive richness of vocal repertoire with some of its finest interpreters.
