41st Barcelona International Poetry Festival

41st Barcelona International Poetry Festival
Details
In this 41st edition of the Barcelona International Poetry Festival, we wanted to put the focus on the gaze. On the ability to look and to look at each other, to recognize each other, to interpret the world and to transform it through words. Tonight, at the Palau, seven poets will offer us seven ways of seeing, seven voices that we hope will illuminate your retinas and expand, even if only for a while, the space of what is possible.
Seven voices, seven ways of looking. Poetry, said live, recovers here its most primordial and most essential dimension: that of encounter, that of ritual, that of shared emotion, that of a community that comes together to listen and feel. Nothing replaces this living, unrepeatable opportunity, made of fragilities and intensities.
