The Italian baritone Andrè Schuen, one of the leading figures in the next generation of lied singers, will make his début at the Palau de la Música Catalana with a programme in which the central work is the orchestrated lieder Des Knaben Wunderhorn (The Boy’s Magic Horn) by Gustav Mahler, in a reduction by Klaus Simon. The concert will feature collaboration from the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana ensemble, directed by conductor Anna Sułkowska-Migoń, winner of La Maestra 2022, a conducting competition run by the Philharmonie de Paris. The concert will also include Richard Wagner's Siegfried Idyll.
