After a long absence from Barcelona, the legendary pianist, conductor, and composer Mikhail Pletnev returns to the Palau de la Música Catalana to offer an exceptional occasion in the field of chamber music. He is joined by violinist Marc Bouchkov, one of the most distinctive and versatile figures of his generation. The program centers on the Barcelona premiere of Alexey Shor’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, written in close collaboration with Pletnev, and is completed with sonatas by Schubert, Grieg, and Franck, major works of the repertoire. A concert that brings together tradition, contemporary creation, and interpretative excellence.
