In January 2021, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Mexican tenor Javier Camarena made his début at the Palau de la Música Catalana, in a performance that not only revealed his generous skills in interpretation, but also his talent and singing mastery. Camarena returns to the modernist concert hall for the second time, along with his regular pianist, the Cuban musician Ángel Rodríguez. The concert is part of a tour to present his latest recording, based on the work of Francesco Tosti.

Internationally lauded for his velvety and brilliant timbre, Camarena achieves excellence at the high and falsetto register, thanks to his capacity to move the audience and interpret Italian bel canto roles to an unbeatable degree. This recital is truly one of this season’s unmissable highlights.
