Carlos Núñez returns to the stage with a tribute to the years he spent as “the seventh Chieftain”.

Between 1994 and 1997, The Chieftains—with Carlos Núñez as an honorary member—recorded the Grammy Award-winning album Santiago.This award marked an unprecedented milestone that cemented the musical connection between our own tradition and the wider world. During those extraordinary years, Carlos became part of the legendary Irish band’s universe, sharing recording studios, stages, and major international tours with them—as well as with great artists from across the musical spectrum. This relationship went far beyond mere musical collaboration. Carlos became part of The Chieftains’ family, and the band’s founder, Paddy Moloney, affectionately dubbed him “the seventh Chieftain”.

Three decades later, Carlos revives the spirit of that era on a new world tour, sharing with audiences the thrill of experiences that forever transformed his music and his outlook on life.
