Program

W. A. Mozart: The Marriage of Figaro

Details

The Orquestra Simfònica del Vallè, under the direction of Daniel Gil de Tejada, presents one of the most iconic operas in the history of music: Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. This masterpiece—a brilliant comedy and a reflection on the complexities of love, power dynamics, and freedom—transports us to the world of nobility and their servants, with exceptional dramatic and musical rhythm.

With an excellent cast led by María Hinojosa (Countess Almaviva) and Ferran Albrich (Count Almaviva), the opera will be performed by outstanding voices from the national scene such as Pau Armengol (Figaro), Rosa Maria Abella (Susanna), and Mar Esteve (Cherubino). The Amics de l’Òpera de Sabadell Choir will provide the power and beauty of the chorus, while Miquel Gorriz is in charge of stage direction.

A production by the Òpera a Catalunya Foundation, which, as always, offers us the opportunity to enjoy the finest opera in an exceptional setting.
