The Simfònica de Cobla i Corda de Catalunya (SCCC), the Polifònica de Puig-reig, and the havaneres group Arjau, under the direction of Francesc Cassú, present Mare mundi. With an eclectic repertoire that journeys from Händel to the Beatles, passing through Eduard Toldrà, the concert also features solo voices by Beth, Joan Garrido, Mariona Escoda and Samantha. Part of the Tardes al Palau concert series, this production is a musical journey that brings together tradition and modernity, universal classics and Catalan heritage in a large-scale choral and symphonic experience.
