Details
Few voices have brought as much personality to every role as Cecilia Bartoli. The great Baroque diva returns to the Palau with Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, one of the foundational operas of Classicism, where myth becomes pure music and stripped-down emotion. Accompanied by Les Musiciens du Prince – Monaco, an ensemble she personally champions, and under the direction of Gianluca Capuano, Bartoli takes on the role of Orfeo with theatrical power and her unmistakable vocal charisma. The myth of Orpheus, transformed by Gluck into a song of sorrow and redemption, will find a particularly moving resonance at the Palau thanks to the presence of a charismatic artist in a role tailor-made for her.
