In the inaugural concert of the new season, Tomàs Grau will conduct the orchestra in Mahler’s imposing Symphony No. 5, a musical epic that transcends time and space. With its rich emotional palette, from the melancholic beauty of its famous Adagietto to the exultant euphoria of the Rondó-Finale, it is one of the greatest symphonies ever written, a musical odyssey that resounds within our souls.

We will start the concert commemorating the centenary of the death of Àngel Guimerà, with the premiere of the Suite Terra Baixa by Albert Guinovart, a piece based on the same composer's ballet of the same name, based on the play by illustrious Catalan playwright.
