Through the European platform ECHO Rising Stars, which promotes emerging artists in classical music, the Konzerthaus Dortmund, the Kölner Philharmonie and the Philharmonie de Paris are offering a performance by the Quatuor Agate. On this visit to the Palau, it will perform a programme that includes Ligeti's First Quartet, the premiere of a work specially commissioned by ECHO and Ravel's only String Quartet.
