The Cobla Ciutat de Girona is kicking off the celebrations of its 50th anniversary –since it was founded in 1975– with the baggage of a long history of aplecs i ballades (meetings and dances) throughout Catalonia, and even abroad, as well as a copious discography. Under the direction of Esteve Molero, and at the Palau de la Música, the scene of the major celebrations, it will perform a programme with works by Buscarons, Camps, Coll, Morales, Molero, Predico, Sabaté, Tudela and Ventura.
