CEDOC organizes this guided tour for all interested people to know the history of Catalan music through the documentary treasures of the archive and the library of the Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música Foundation.

The public have the opportunity to access the Orfeó Català Documentation Center, a unique architectural space where you can see unique documents that testify to more than 500 years of musical heritage in Catalonia.

During the guided tour the public will be able to see original documents that tell the history of Catalan music as musical manuscripts dating from the Middle Ages to modernism, founding documents of the Orfeó Català, photographs, artwork and programs of hand that reflect the centuries-old history of the Palau de la Música Catalana, among other documents.
