Details
After the recital offered with Sonia Prina and Juan Sancho, the Vespres d'Arnadí ensemble returns to the Simfònics season at the Palau to accompany one of the most admired countertenors in the world, Xavier Sabata, who will take an interesting tour of the opera genre serious, that in the first decades of the 18th century it was undergoing a process of virtuosic intensification, which would lead singers (especially sopranos and castrati) to become the superstars of the artistic universe of the moment. The most singular aspect of the recital is that Sabata has chosen very little-known works by composers who are not especially famous. In addition, most of the arias have an obligatory instrument as a second soloist. In this way, a double tribute is paid to the invisible: the forgotten masters of yesterday and the orchestra musicians of today.
